I visited the OVERSTOCK website in April 2005...

OverStock

And saw this...

movie
movie2

More Information:

Movie1 shows Zango being used to steal an underserved sales commissions from Overstock.com. The consumer found Overstock via the Google search engine - nobody referred this customer - the customer KNEW the Overstock brand name - likely because Overstock has spent millions and millions of dollars to advertise on TV and build a brand name for themselves. But Zango is being used to overwrite the affiliate tracking cookie to claim credit for this sale.

Movie2 shows an affiliate partner of Overstock's, the website called FlamingoWorld.com, referring a visitor from FlamingoWorld to Overstock (where FlamingoWorld's site owner would normally get paid for referring a buying customer to Overstock.com). But Zango is being used to overwrite the affiliate tracking cookie so they can steal the affiliate commission that is owed to FlamingoWorld.
